Pierre Pépin

Pierre has been a professional in Outdoor Leadership for over 35 years. He specializes in water sports and high mountains. He has directed and led several major expeditions. Pierre was also a member of the Canadian Forces. He coached Biathlon for nearly 20 years at both the provincial and national levels. He ran a successful Outdoor leadership school and is currently self-employed in the home renovation field. 

Here are some of his achievements:

 

  • Cross-Arctic on back country skis

  • Cross-Canada cycling

  • 21 peaks over 5,000 meters in 28 days (South America);

  • Ascension of the highest mountains of the Americas (Denali, Aconcagua and Chimborazo)

  • Crossing Park Talamanca in Costa Rica in total autonomy

  • Solo sea kayaking trip for more that 30 days (example: Crossing the St. Lawrence Gulf (Quebec))

  • Enduro motorcycle expedition from Quebec to Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) - 2002-2003

  • Everglades Park (Florida) by canoe - 2010

  • Perseverance Trip (2.200 km by canoe on the Voyageur Route - 2012)
